At the end of 2020, the smallest electric Volkswagen “e-Up!” Ceased production at the Bratislava plant, the plant did not catch record orders and, according to the carmaker, delivery times were extended to 16 months.

Now, in February 2022, the car is back to order. So far in Germany with a price of 29,895 euros, in terms of 727 thousand crowns. That is, before the ecological state support in the amount of 9570 euros, ie 233 thousand. Later, the car will be available again in the rest of Europe.

Higher Style Plus equipment will be standard. The car is powered by an electric motor with an output of 61 kW, 83 hp, and a torque of 210 Nm. The battery with a capacity of 32.2 kWh is enough for 258 kilometers of travel on a single charge. It takes an hour from zero to 80 percent in the case of 40kW recharging.

Electric citigo will not return
Seat and Škoda also experienced the transformation from ordinary mini-cars with liter engines to small electric cars with Volkswagen. However, only e-Up! Is most likely returning to the menu.

“Škoda Auto is not currently planning to relaunch the Citigoe iV. By 2030, we are going to launch at least three other electric models in the portfolio under the Enyaq iV model, ”said Škoda Jina Auto spokesman Pavel Jína when asked by News.
