Volkshilfe refugee house in Vienna smeared with Nazi symbols

A family refugee quarter of Volkshilfe in the Bruno-Kreisky-Haus in Vienna-Floridsdorf has been smeared with swastikas and right-wing extremist slogans. The aid organization announced on Tuesday. According to Volkshilfe, the spray attack took place last night.

The symbols have now been removed, they said on request from APA. In the evening there will be protests against the spraying action. Volkshilfe organizes a corresponding meeting in front of the house on Donaufelder Straße.

They wanted to draw attention to the fact that refugee families living here are neighbors “and belong to us,” it said. Nazis would never have the right to unsettle families: “Not in the district, not in all of Vienna – nowhere.”
