Right now there is a fire in a building on Mölndalsvägen. There is heavy smoke development and the Greater Gothenburg Rescue Service has issued a VMA.
Heavy smoke is spreading westward over parts of Gothenburg and the Rescue Service is urging everyone in the area to go indoors and close doors, windows and ventilation. Stay updated on Sweden’s radio P4 Gothenburg.
Greater Gothenburg emergency services received the alarm at 10.06.
– We are on site with an extensive resource package and extinguishing work is underway, says Jan Carlsson, officer on duty at the Greater Gothenburg Rescue Service.
It is currently unclear what caused the fire.
