VIVO BBM viral consequences are higher quality from Pertamine than being affected by DPR

Jakarta

VIVO BBM is a strong rival for Pertamina. LIVE BBM started to get noticed after selling fuel cheaper than that of Pertamina.

At that time, VIVO’s BBM, Revvo 89 (RON 89), was selling at IDR 8,900/litre, or 1,100 less than the BBM Pertalite which was increased to IDR 10,000/litre.

Some time later the Revvo 89 finally disappeared and was replaced by the Revvo 90 (RON 90). Revvo 90 is now sold for IDR 12,000/litre or IDR 2,000 more expensive than Pertalite.

Even though it is more expensive, Pertalite’s BBM rival is still sought after by consumers, one of which is online mototaxi. Because Revvo 90 is supposed to be cheaper and have better quality than Pertamina fuel.

As a result, this news reached the ears of the DPR RI members. Gerindra faction Commission VII member Ramson Siagian questioned the quality of VIVO fuel, which was reported to be better than Pertamina’s fuel.

This was communicated in a hearing meeting (RDP) with the director general of oil and gas, BPH Migas and fuel supply companies in Indonesia.

LIVE BBM said it is of higher quality than the Pertamina Patra Niaga BBM,” he told DPR RI, Thursday (12/8/2022).

He admitted to having received several complaints about it. Ramson also says that VIVO fuel prices sell for less.

“There are complaints that VIVO quality is better at a lower price,” he asked.

Ramson asked for an explanation, whether VIVO’s way of marketing was better than Pertamina’s, including in the use of social media. This is because complaints about the quality of Pertamina and VIVO fuel have reached the public level.

“All the way down to the electoral district level there were complaints. ‘Wow, VIVO is better,” he explained.

For your information, several fuel supply companies participated in this meeting. Among others are PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, PT I LIVE Energy, Shell Indonesia, PT AKR and Exxon Mobil.
