Vivo Announces X90 Devices with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 or Soc Dimension 9200 – Tablets and Phones – News

Vivo has announced its new X90 lineup, consisting of the X90, X90 Pro, and X90 Pro+. The first two devices have MediaTek’s new Dimensity 9200-soc. The top model, the Pro+, has Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 soc. Both companies were announced in November.

Qualcomm has announced the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 soc a week ago, making Vivo’s X90 Pro+ the first smartphone announced with these socs. The top model has a 6.78″ AMOLED screen with a resolution of 3200×1440 pixels. This screen supports 10-bit color and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The maximum brightness is 1800 cd/m². The phone also has a battery capacity of 4700 mAh which can be wired with 80W or 50W can be charged wirelessly. The top model costs at least 886 euros.

The regular X90 Pro gets according to GSMArena the same cameras as the Pro+. The X90 gets the 50-megapixel Sony IMX866 sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 12-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom. The X90 and X90 Pro both come with 8GB or 12GB of memory and 256GB or 512GB of storage. The regular X90 can also be purchased with 128GB of storage.

Both cheaper models have the same 6.78″ screen with qhd+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The maximum brightness here is 1300cd/m². The X90’s batteries have a combined capacity of 4810mAh; in the Pro this is 60mAh more.Both devices can be charged wired with 120W and the Pro can also be charged wirelessly with 50W.
