Cluster Management Obwis (tourist attraction) Mount Galunggung, Dudung Suhaeri said, visitors have started to experience an increase of about 20 percent from before.
“Alhamdulillah, this holiday the number of tourist visits to Mount Galunggung has increased significantly, which is about 20 percent compared to the week before,” he said, Sunday (31/10/2021).
In addition to Galunggung Crater, the visitors also looked quite crowded to fill the hot springs at the Obwis location.
Even so, continued Dudung, his party continued to implement health protocols according to Covid-19. So that the temporary visit capacity is still limited to only 25 percent.

However, because Galunggung has a large area of natural tourism, the 20 percent figure is quite large.
“So with the increase in visitors to Mount Galunggung, it doesn’t have much effect. Because the Galunggung tourism area is wide enough for tourists to do activities, “he explained.
Dudung also mentioned that the number of visits on Sunday, October 31, 2021, reached 1,200 visitors. Meanwhile, if not a holiday only about 500 visitors.
Meanwhile, one of the visitors to the Galunggung Mountain Observatory, Ahmad Bilal, said he was happy with the reopening of the tourist attraction. So that he and his family can enjoy the beauty of Galunggung again and soak in the hot springs.
