Virtus returns to success after the defeat against Panathinaikos, with seven victories in the first ten matchdays

In the tenth round of Euroleague Virtus Bologna he got up immediately after the defeat in Greece against Panathinaikos. The Emilians recorded their seventh success of the season in Europe thanks to 87-79 at home against Fenerbahce. Among the absolute protagonists the usual Shengelia (15 points) and a rediscovered Hackett (14 points). Motley’s 25 points weren’t enough for Beko, with the Turks paying for the low shooting percentages.

Seventh victory in the Euroleague for Virtus Bologna, who also beat Fenerbahce with a score of 87-79. Strong start for the Turks with a super Motley, with the hosts managing to come back in the final thanks to Hackett. In the next ten minutes the V-blacks begin to increase the intensity, with Cacok, Lundberg and Shengelia taking the lead in the 11-0 run. Banchi’s team ended the first half ahead, but did not stop when they returned after the break. Calathes tries to keep Beko afloat, but it struggles to contain Shengelia. In the final six hundred seconds, Smith and Abass also played their part, with Segafredo managing in the final and containing the Istanbul team’s lukewarm attempts at a comeback. Bologna wins 87-79 and scores the seventh success in ten games, fifth defeat for Fenerbahce.
