According to the expert, the possibility of coronavirus infection at home is “rather small.”
“Just in case, you need to use boiled water, wash fruits, vegetables, conduct heat treatment of products – the usual protection to prevent intestinal infections,” – noted virologist.
He also recommended washing hands more often, wiping surfaces, and being at least 2 m away from other people.
Earlier, the head of the department of the National Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology named after Gamaleya of the Ministry of Health Alexander Butenko in an interview with the site “Moscow 24” assessed the risk of contracting coronavirus after exposure to various objects.
