The movie ‘Smuggling’ depicts the story of ‘Chun-ja’ and ‘Jin-sook’, two staunch haenyeo who lose their jobs due to the construction of a chemical factory in a seaside village in the 1970s.
On July 20th of 2023, the Showcase and VIP conference photo wall for the movie ‘Smugglers’ took place in Megabox’s coex.
The movie, ‘Smugglers,’ is a movie set in the 1970’s where the main characters Choon-Ja and Jin-Sook lose their jobs due to a chemical plant being built in their village by the sea. The two get into smuggling and their journey begins from there.
