As “Delfi” informs the organizers of the festival from VSIA “Latvijas Koncerti”, the musicians have selected four Mozart sonatas for this chamber music concert.

“Mozart’s violin sonatas gladly allowed to experiment, offering the most unimaginable combinations of character and image. In addition to the works composed in Vienna, the program includes Mozart’s only minor sonata written in Paris and dedicated to his mother, which will be balanced by one of the last sonatas with a strong polyphony,”

Vineta Sareika says: “My first musical memories are of Mozart’s Allegretto, which I played at Sloka Church. Mozart is the calling card of every musician. In his chamber music, I see the characters in the opera – happy and vital, as well as dramatic and vulnerable, but all true. . “

This year, “Muso” has released Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s violin album, recorded by Vineta Sareika and Amandine Savari. These are three sonatas – in Famažor KV 376, in Solmažor KV379 and in Lamažor KV 526. The musicians’ think tank started in the chamber ensemble “Trio Dali”, which was successful in competitions and was also praised by critics. The two musicians have also recorded Edward Grieg’s violin album together.
