Violent Attack on Coffee Maker: Saint Paul’s Day Incident in Sarreguemines

Saint Paul’s Day is one of the cultural and financial highlights of the year for the shops, restaurants and bars of Sarreguemines. The companion of a coffee maker in the earthenware city was however the victim, on the sidelines of this celebration, of a violent attack on the night of Saturday to Sunday.

Around 5 a.m., when she was returning to her home in a town near Sarreguemines with the receipts for the evening (around €12,000), she was followed by car.

Arrived at her home, three hooded individuals burst in and threatened her, apparently unarmed, summoning her to give them the cash. They then visited his home and stole jewelry, said the Sarreguemines prosecutor’s office.

The victim was not physically injured, but is deeply shocked.

The investigation was entrusted to the Sarreguemines gendarmerie company. The three people have not yet been identified.
