Ahead Spanish MotoGP 2020 at the Jerez Circuit, two Monster Energy Yamaha racers, Valentino Rossi and Maverick Vinales face a different problem.
Rossi expressed having a problem with the tires so that they are not able to drive the motor well and only ranked 20th during the second free practice session.
The aging owner of the seven MotoGP world titles said the temperature and traction of the rear tire were a problem, but not so with Vinales.
“I have no problems with tires, I am very happy with it. It will be difficult to choose the best tire combination for racing, but I have a good feeling with the combination. The motorbike works so well,” Vinales said.
“We handle tires well, that’s the point we do,” he said again alluding to the tire problem as quoted from Speedweek.
The driver who has been racing for five seasons on the MotoGP track also feels quite optimistic about the electronic devices that are felt to make his motorcycle able to compete.
Nevertheless, Vinales did not cover the shortcomings that must be fixed ahead of the first MotoGP race in 2020.
“We still have ideas for tomorrow. But we don’t want to overdo it because I think this motorbike works well, can go fantastic.”
“Of course, [masalah kecepatan] still an obstacle. But we still have something to try. We will work to be maximum in every lap, “said Vinales.
