Villagers alert for corpses inside homes in Michoacán after clashes

Inhabitants of the community of “El Aguaje”, municipality of Aguililla, Michoacán, they warned that there are several bodies lying on the floor and inside homes.

The inhabitants considered that there are at least seven civilians dead, as a result of the series of clashes that have occurred in Hot Earth.

In addition, they denounced that the bodies already emit rotten odors, since some are in a state of decomposition and no authority has gone to carry out the survey.

They said that, since last Saturday to today, that community has been left without electricity, without an internet signal and without water.

The inhabitants reported that the shops and businesses are closed, in addition to the fact that almost the entire population has left the community due to the violent events and death.

Since last Friday, violence broke out in that area of ​​the entity, after an attack on elements of the National Guard and of Mexican Army.

The confrontations lasted for several hours at various points in that municipality located 275 kilometers from the Michoacán capital.

Security authorities in the region reported that the balance in these episodes of violence is five suspected hitmen killed and two officers injured.

The inhabitants reported that, on Saturday morning, groups of armed civilians at the service of Los Viagras and the Jalisco New Generation Poster they faced each other.

Since that day, shooting clashes between antagonistic organized crime groups have continued.
