Vikings Season 3, Episode 6 Recap: Ambush and Peace Settlement

Floki explores the land he has arrived at. In Norway, Astrid tempts Harald with a possible union, but is otherwise reserved. In the Mediterranean, Cindric advises Bjorn to pretend to be a merchant rather than a sailor and send most of the ships home. In England, the combined forces of King Æthelwulf and Bishop Hechmund attack York, but are lured into an ambush. Æthelwulf’s son Æthelred is wounded and the English retreat. Ube and Hvitserk offer a peace settlement, but Ivar wants to continue the war. Æthelwulf seems to agree to the offer, but Hechmund’s subordinates mock the brothers.
