– In Vietnam, a new coronavirus infection (Corona 19) has occurred in the country in two months, and the quarantine authorities are in an emergency.
Vietnam’s Ministry of Health said on the 28th (local time) that 72 and 10 domestic cases of Corona 19 were confirmed in northern Hai Duong Province and Quang Ninh Province, respectively.
It is the first time in two months since December 2, last year that an infection case has been reported in Vietnam.
According to local media such as Vietnam News Agency (VNA), confirmed cases of Hai Duong Province were confirmed to have been infected by confirmed patients infected with the corona 19 mutation virus after entering the country recently. There are high concerns about the spread of the confirmed patients who were tested positive this time because they were infected by the same electronic company. The authorities shut down the electronic company, which employs 2,200 people.
In addition, in Quang Ninh Province, one of the employees of Beondon Airport, who has frequent contact with those who enter the country, visited the hospital with symptoms of high fever and sore throat, and after being confirmed for Corona 19, additional infected people came one after another.
Accordingly, the quarantine authorities decided to broadly identify close contacts, take quarantine measures, and actively conduct tests. In addition, it plans to pursue all-out war on the path of infection and prevent re-proliferation.
Hai Duong Province and Quang Ninh Province ordered schools to close temporarily and forced them to suspend large-scale events and entered into social distancing. In areas where there is an electronic company in Hai Duong Province where group infection occurred, they were prohibited from going out except in special cases, such as purchasing food, and meetings of two or more people were prohibited.
Quang Ninh Province also blocked Beondon Airport and temporarily suspended public transportation.
