Vienna Philharmonic’s Open-Air Concert at Schönbrunn Palace 2022: Conductor Yannick Nézet-Seguin and Mezzo-Soprano Elina Garanca

The open-air concert of the Vienna Philharmonic at Schönbrunn Palace has long become a tradition and the culmination of the famous orchestra’s concert season. At this year’s Schönbrunn concert, Canadian conductor Yannick Nézet-Seguin, artistic director of the Philadelphia Symphony Orchestra, will be at the helm of the orchestra, and mezzo-soprano Elina Garanca will participate. She will sing three arias from the opera “Carmen” by Georges Bizet, from the opera “Sappho” by Charles Gounod and from the work “Samson and Delilah” by Camille Sensans.
