Morena Cumbia began her musical career at the beginning of 2008 singing alone on stage with cover music tracks. The following year he formed his musical group from his hometown, Santiago. As a soloist he presented a tropical repertoire.

Morena then recorded in 2012 a Santa Fe cumbia album produced by the musician Silvio Rojas where it contained songs of his own. “I’m not going to change” was the cut from the album entitled “Cerca de ti” that led her to travel throughout the south of her province and north of Santa Fe, which makes her one of the tropical female artists from Santiago that ventures into this style. musical.

In the theatrical seasons of 2012, 2013, 2014 he participated with his music in the play “La guerra del humor” led by the Santiago comedian Pochi Chávez where they were successful to full rooms at the Teatro Coral de Villa Carlos Paz and Las Termas de Río Hondo .

In 2016 Morena recorded her first Guarachero album entitled “Soy Santiagueña”, being the first female voice to venture into this style.

In her career as a television host, she has been on TIC for seven seasons with her program “Morena Cumbia”.

In September 2019, he filled the 25 de Mayo theater with a show where Morena celebrated her 10 years in music. At the beginning of 2020, he advanced his new tropical songs such as “Yo soy Morena”, “Then what we are”, “La imperdonable”, “Porque el amor” and a medley in homage to his colleague from Santiago Mario Cecilio “Koli” Arce.

In July 2020 he recorded the song “A Letter to God” which gives a message of reflection for the circumstance of the pandemic.
