Carlos Carrasco opened again. His inspiring return after battling cancer is absolute.
More than a year after he was diagnosed with leukemia, the Venezuelan right-hander struck out 10 in just over six innings and Dominican Jose Ramirez hit a couple of home runs for the Cleveland Indians to beat the Kansas Royals 9-2 City on Sunday 26-J and they will win two of three games in the postponed season opener.
Ramirez hit a three-run homer left-handed in the fourth episode and added a lone right-footed shot in the sixth inning in favor of the Indians, who ultimately put together a solid offense against the Kansas City bullpen.
With an incomplete rotation after some pitchers tested positive on covid-19, Royals manager Mike Matheny awarded starter to reliever Ronald Bolaños (0-1), who conceded two runs in the first inning and charged with defeat. .

For the Royals, Venezuelans Salvador Pérez 3-1 with a towed, and Óscar Hernández 1-0. Dominicans Maikel Franco 4-2 with scored, Erick Mejía 4-0 and Franchy Cordero 2-0. Cuban Jorge Soler 3-0.
