The Iranian entered the second half in substitution of his partner Aaron Mooy when Brighton lost by the minimum after a goal by César Azpilicueta at ten minutes of play.
In the 84th minute and after a corner kick from the premises, Jahanbakhsh took advantage of a ball in the center of the area and with his back to the goal, he executed a flawlessly flap that the Spanish goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga saw passing towards the bottom of the net.
