Norwegian wildlife photographer Jan Lars Nesje managed, at the end of March, to capture an impressive scene in his lens: a golden eagle soaring with a fox in its talons.
The facts are reported by the CNews channel.
Truth be told, the videographer had paved the way for a bit by dropping a dead fox in the mountains near Stryn. He had the cameras nearby. Usually, eagles eat their prey on the spot before taking off. But this time, baited by the animal, the raptor swooped down on the prey, cut a small part of it before rising to the sky with the fox in its talons. The effort is intense for the eagle because the prey is heavy.
