The hockey player who grew up in the “SCL Tigers” system of the Langnau city club scored the team’s only goal in the game against the “Geneve-Servette” team. Lapinskis caught everyone off guard with a great opening pass – but unfortunately Lapinskis was as surprised by the move as anybody else, and managed to miss the extraordinary opportunity.

The Tigers team lost 1: 9 (1: 3, 0: 3, 0: 3) in their last regular season game. Goalkeeper Ivars Punennovs did not play in its ranks due to injury, but the farm club currently has Rihards Melnalksnis at its disposal.

In turn, the winners scored in the eighth goal Deniss Smirnovs.

For Lapinski, it was the 20th game in the highest league in Switzerland, but the team represented by several Latvians scored 35 points in 50 games, taking 12th place in the competition of 13 teams.
