Responding to the indignation of social network users, the man publishes another video, from which it is clear that such a situation seems normal to him, because “the dog is a swimmer” and “is specially designed for swimming”.

As TVNET observed, the man has already deleted the video from his “TikTok” account.

Lieutenant Colonel Mairita Senkevicina, head of the Communication Department of the NBS Information Analysis and Management Department, confirmed to the TVNET portal that the author of the video is a national guard. The National Guard has initiated a service investigation to clarify the circumstances.

The National Armed Forces condemns any disrespectful and cruel treatment of animals. The actions of soldiers and national guardsmen, both in and out of service, must be based on the values ​​and standards of the NBS, as well as comply with generally accepted moral and ethical norms. Such a person’s behavior does not correspond to generally accepted moral and ethical norms and contradicts the values ​​and standards of a soldier.
