Bulgaria has a total of 13 Eurovision appearances. In the period from 2005 to 2013 our country has only one ranking in the finals out of a total of 9 participations. In 2014 and 2015 Bulgaria missed participation. After the return of our country in 2016, three years of extremely successful rankings follow. In 2019, Bulgaria again missed participation, but returned in 2020 with Victoria. The coronavirus pandemic was the reason for the cancellation of the competition. Victoria’s participation in 2021 is the fourth most successful performance of Bulgaria.
