On Monday night, a very large fire raged on a business park in Numansdorp in South Holland. The emergency services had the fire under control around 3:00 am.
Emergency services had come out en masse to extinguish the fire. The fire broke out shortly after midnight in a multi-company building on the Chr. Huygensstraat.
The South Holland South Safety Region reported around 02:00 that the fire had spread to an underlying building.
The fire service tried to prevent the fire from spreading further to surrounding buildings by spraying the surrounding buildings wet as a precaution. A lot of smoke was released during the fire.
The cause of the fire is investigated.
