And the Appellate Economic Misdemeanor Court in Alexandria decided to accept the appeal submitted by the famous model and blogger Salma El-Shimi, and to cancel the sentence of two years’ imprisonment and a fine of 100,000 pounds, and to rule again that the Alexandria Economic Court did not have jurisdiction over the case, and to refer it to the Cairo Economic Court for jurisdiction.

The Economic Court in Alexandria had issued a two-year prison sentence and a fine of 100,000 pounds to the famous model and blogger, Salma El-Shimi, on charges of violating family values ​​and principles, and broadcasting provocative videos of sexual instincts and disgrace to public modesty that offend the values ​​of Egyptian society and contradict public morals through social networks. , after her arrest.

The beginning was when the security services managed to seize Salma El-Shimi, a “fashion blogger” who had previously been accused in a case, and issued several reports against her, for displaying pictures and video clips of herself, containing many suggestions and immoral movements, with the aim of increasing the number of her followers to reach high viewership rates to achieve Material Profits”, and against whom a decision has been issued by the Public Prosecution to seize and bring them, if she returns from one of the countries.

Confronting her, she acknowledged showing the aforementioned photos and videos, as part of her desire to increase the number of her followers. Legal measures were taken.
