Recall that on July 17, President Volodymyr Zelensky removed Irina Venediktova from the post of Prosecutor General. Then the president explained his decision by the fixed connections between the employees of the power structures of Ukraine and the special services of Russia.
Already on July 19, Zelensky submitted a draft resolution on the dismissal of Prosecutor General Venediktova. On the same day, the Verkhovna Rada dismissed her from the post of Prosecutor General of Ukraine. The decision was supported by 264 deputies.
Later, the head of the Servant of the People faction, David Arakhamia, said on the air of the telethon that Venediktova is going to be appointed to a new position on the diplomatic front.
