Vegas Forward Ivan Barbashev Shares His Opinion on Ban on Bringing Stanley Cup to Russia" width="770" height="434" layout="responsive" alt="Иван Барбашев." data-recalc-dims="1"/>

Forward “Vegas” Ivan Barbashev shared his opinion about the ban on bringing the Stanley Cup to Russia.

“Honestly, I do not care. I really didn’t think about it. I don’t think the cup will go to Russia, because it didn’t get there last year. This is what it is, so I don’t really think about it, ”AP News quoted Barbashev as saying.

Earlier, NHL Deputy Commissioner Bill Daly said that Russian players, if they win the Stanley Cup, will not be able to bring the trophy home. Last season, Colorado forward Valery Nichushkin failed to do this.

In the playoff finals, Vegas and Florida will meet. Russian goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky is playing for the Panthers.
