Taking into account the sporting and geographical aspects, the teams will be divided into several baskets before the draw and will be involved in the fight for the cup at different stages.

“VEF Rīga”, which will also start in the FIBA ​​Champions League next season, will start the Latvian Cup from the semi-finals.
