Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 Update: Refunds, New Images and September Presentation

Since the Dead Island 2 it was finally released this year, and we can’t refer to it much anymore when talking about games languishing in developer hell, perhaps never being made. Unfortunately, however, there are still plenty of examples of works with a bad fate, just the ones announced years ago are enough Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2to think about, which many players have been waiting for ever since. It’s no wonder, since the first part, which can be considered Troika’s swan song, was amazingly well received by the World of Darkness atmosphere, and a vampire game does not grow in every bush, at least not one that is able to draw people in so much. So the fans of bloodsuckers are already hungry (more precisely, thirsty) for a night hunt disguised in a modern outfit – and preferably finished, since it didn’t work out very well last time. Unfortunately, however, the creation of the program did not go as planned at all, as the game was taken away from the Hardsuit Labs team in 2021 (a small reminder: the release was originally scheduled for 2020), as a result of which it was even questionable for a while whether it would continue development at all.

Well, fortunately, it continued, so much so that according to Paradox Interactive, we will be able to see it again in September, but alongside the good news came a less good one (although this is relative, since there was no tragedy). The publisher will give an automatic refund to those who pre-ordered the physical copies, as they will update the individual editions as well as the bonus content – in addition, those who choose the digital version can also request a refund. The Bloodlines Team also promised that they will continue to try to put the best possible game on the table, and as proof, they also pleased us with new images, which you can see above. So in the fall, we can already see the RPG in action – if only it’s half as good as the first one Bloodlineswe will be happy.
