Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 delayed to 2021

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 has been delayed to 2021.

That news was shared through the official Bloodlines 2 Twitter account. Paradox Interactive and Hardsuit Labs together give an explanation. The companies say the delay is necessary to “deliver the best game possible” and “make a worthy successor to the original Bloodlines game.”

“Because of our ambition and the high quality that we want to achieve, we have decided that we need more time”, the statement reads. “That means our goal of releasing the game in 2020 is no longer attainable. We are moving the launch so that we can offer players the best possible experience.”

The tweet also indicates that we will get more information later on the game’s launch “and other organizational changes” that will take place in the coming month. At the moment there is therefore no new release date for the game.

“We understand you will be disappointed, but we appreciate that our ambition is so well understood in the community.”

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 was initially delayed from October 2019 to Q1 2020. Now the game will be released sometime in 2021 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X.
