“I had some problems with my flight. I’m still at the airport in Finland, but I’ll be at my destination soon. I have a new flight scheduled for Thursday night. My preparation for the race shouldn’t be affected.” Valtteri Bottas said in a video call with the media, citing him on the official F1.com website.
The sixth races of this year’s ephedical series will take place in Azerbaijan. However, the vice-champion of the world from the last two two seasons cannot be satisfied with the previous five. “At the beginning of the season, my mental alertness took over. I have a few unsuccessful races behind me. It’s up to me how I can bounce back and move forward. I definitely don’t want to give up. The season is long and I trust my team and my team that better results will come, “ said Bottas.
