L’Marne-la-Vallée private hospital, located in Bry-sur-Marne (Val-de-Marne), last February set up a multipurpose medicine service. Since then, this new service has been used at the heart of the health crisis to welcome patients with Covid-19.
“A boost”
The Marne-La-Vallée private hospital in Bry-Sur-Marne is part of the group’s establishments Ramsay Health. It is one of the European leaders in private hospitalization and primary care. The hospital, on the edge of the departments of Val de Marne, Seine-Saint-Denis and Seine-et-Marne, has opened a general medicine department. This new service is intended to meet an increasingly strong need in the hospital’s catchment area, as emphasized by its Managing Director, Ronald Signes :
“All services combined, the Marne-la-Vallée hospital has around 60,000 consultations per year. Our establishment is located in the heart of Greater Paris in an area that will welcome an ever-growing population. as Noisy-le-Grand will have an increase in inhabitants. We wanted to give a boost with the arrival of a team of young doctors “.
The multipurpose medicine service welcomes patients with serious pathologies or who have had complications during their hospitalization in the Marne-La-Vallée private hospital or a partner establishment. The doctor Hugo Briffa, from the multipurpose medicine service, adds: “The service is made up of three doctors, three nurses and 4 nursing assistants”.
