NEW YORK (dpa-AFX) – In the US state of New York there will be another incentive for the corona vaccination for children and adolescents in the future: Among all 12 to 17-year-olds who have received at least one vaccine dose and from theirs Parents are registered, 50 free places would be raffled, said Governor Andrew Cuomo on Wednesday. These are places at public universities in New York State, including tuition fees, books and other necessary materials, as well as room and meals – a total of tens of thousands of dollars each.

More than half of the adults in the state of New York with around 19 million inhabitants are already fully vaccinated, but the momentum of the vaccination campaign had recently waned.
