The buildings of the former (mostly) chaux-de-fonnière furniture company VAC, which went bankrupt in 2018, were auctioned off at La Chaux-de-Fonds on Friday for 8 million francs. The buyer is the property management company Michel Wolf S.A., of Neuchâtel. The entrepreneur had to pay a deposit of 3 million francs the same day. He did not pay cash, but the bank guarantees presented were visibly valid.
