Usher and Jennifer Goicoechea Tie the Knot on Super Bowl Sunday
Love was in the air on Super Bowl Sunday as Usher, the Grammy-winning R&B star, and his girlfriend, Jennifer Goicoechea, officially tied the knot. The couple said their vows on the same day Usher headlined the Super Bowl halftime show in Las Vegas. This is not Usher’s first trip down the aisle, as it marks his third marriage. His previous marriages were to stylist Tameka Foster from 2007 to 2009 and entertainment executive Grace Harry in 2015, which ended in separation in 2018. However, this is Goicoechea’s first marriage.
Usher and Goicoechea have been together since 2019 and share two children, Sovereign Bo, 3, and Sire Castrello, 2. Usher also has two children from his marriage to Foster, Usher “Cinco” V, 16, and Naviyd Ely, 15. In a November interview with People magazine, Usher described Goicoechea as his “best friend” and praised her as an “amazing” partner.
