users demand replacing games in May PS Plus collection

Last week Sony told about the free games that PS Plus subscribers will receive in May. The selection includes two simulators – Farming Simulator 19 and Cities: Skylines. Projects from the upcoming distribution, to put it mildly, did not suit users, and they began to protest. They created a petition to replace the games, and she quickly collects signatures.

Change.org appeared on the site page Change PS Plus May 2020, created by the user under the name Playstation Gamer. As you might guess from the name, the author wants to achieve replacement projects in the May PlayStation Plus selection. The petition description says that people expected to get Dark Souls: Remastered and Dying light. According to recent rumors, it is these two projects that should be appearing in the next distribution. However, Sony officially announced the simulations in the upcoming selection and, according to the Playstation Gamer, it looks like “April Fools joke“.

The petitioner asks to support his initiative: “Please join us and make changes. Do it for the NHS [Национальная служба здравоохранения Великобритании — прим.], do this for everyone who suffers during isolation. Do it for gamers! And then we pat you, Jim Ryan [Джим Райан (Jim Ryan), президент Sony Interactive Entertainment — прим.]“.

At the time of publication of the news, the petition had collected over fourteen thousand signatures. It is also important to note here that a similar precedent was in the summer of 2019. Then Sony decided include in the July selection of free games for PS Plus Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 and Horizon Chase Turbo subscribers. Fans began to protest, and then the company replaced football simulator on Detroit: Become Human in the Digital Deluxe Edition.
