U.S continue supporting Honduras in the fight against covid-19.
Yesterday the United States Agency for International Development (Usaid) donated another 160 fans to support the response to the crisis caused by the disease.
Through a press release, the embassy of the North American country indicates that “these fans, manufactured in U.Sare highly specialized medical teams and an essential part of intensive care patient management to help them breathe while fighting the virus.
Also, Usaid is already giving professional training necessary for the proper use of the 210 fans donated to date ”.

Usaid, which has been present in the country for 60 years, has contributed to poverty reduction and the creation of opportunities for Hondurans through health, education, sustainable economic growth and other programs. – |
The brief also indicates that the Usaid It is also financing the construction of virology laboratories in Cortés, La Ceiba and Copán to expand the capacity to apply covid-19 tests and to isolate infected people in time.
