Wall Street’s major stock indexes closed higher at the close of trading on Thursday.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average finished the trading session up 183.56 points, or 0.5%, to reach 33781.48 points.
The broader Standard & Poor’s 500 index rose 29.59 points, or 0.8%, to 3963.51 points.
The Nasdaq Composite Index for technology stocks added 123.45 points, or 1.1%, to reach 11082.0 points.
