“Because the margin is so small, a full, manual recount is required,” said Raffensperger, a Republican, at a news conference. “We want to start this before the week is up.”

Georgia has 16 electorial votes. According to most media, Biden is now at 279 electors, while 270 was needed to win the election. Trump stands at 213 or 214 electoral votes, according to various media.
