US Reports Highest Covid Hospitalization in Six Months | News

Health authorities in the United States (USA) reported this Wednesday that the level of hospitalizations for Covid-19 reached its highest point in the last six months, due to a new outbreak caused by the rise of the Delta variant.

The authorities added that on average more than 10,000 patients are admitted daily, the highest figure among those who go to hospitals in search of medical attention since April 2020; and as a consequence of a daily rise in infections in more than 110,000 cases, which represents an increase of 25.5 percent in the last week.

The country registered more than 770,000 cases in that period, also the highest total evidenced in months and with a high monitoring of community transmission in all states.





Florida, Louisiana and Arkansas are the states with the most tense epidemiological situation. In the case of La Florida, this Tuesday reached 15,169 admissions, 1,192 more than the previous day and which means greater pressure on health institutions and health personnel.
