According to “Voice of America”, LaPlante announced the news on September 15. He revealed that the 3D printer was purchased last month and the Ukrainian military’s operational training was completed last week.
LaPlante said the 3D printers, which are “about the size of a truck,” are “changing the game” as they enter the battlefield as they speed up the process of repairing damaged military equipment on the front lines.
LaPlante emphasized that 3D printing can produce components that cannot be produced under normal conditions.
