Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev won the men’s singles at the US Open and won the first grand slam title in his career.

Laver first reached a significant milestone in 1962, and in 1938 the American Don Budge dominated all grand slam tournaments.
Djokovic led the final game with Medvedev 40:15 in the opening game. However, the Russian subsequently won four fifths in a row, broke the Serb’s serve and got on the horse. In the further course of the set he served excellently, he had a high percentage of success in the first serve and Djokovic did not get practically anything on the return. Medvedev was able to keep up with the world unit even in longer exchanges and made a minimum of unforced errors.
