US Minister of Health “Starting Pfizer vaccination in the US on the 14th and 15th”

FDA “Quickly Final Approval”… Advisory Committee recommends approval the day before

-US Minister of Health and Welfare Alex Aza said on the 11th (local time) that the new coronavirus infection (Corona 19) vaccination of Pfizer and Bioentech can be made in the United States as early as the 14-15th.

In an interview with ABC News on the same day, Aza said, “The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has informed Pfizer that it is planning to approve the vaccine,” and emphasized that the approval will fall within the next few days.

He said, “If shipments are made in cooperation with Pfizer, we will be able to see people getting the vaccinations next Monday (14th) and Tuesday (15th).”

Aza said that by the end of February next year, 100 million Americans will be vaccinated against Corona 19. U.S. health officials believe that about 20 million people can be vaccinated in the U.S. within December once the vaccine is approved, The Hill said. In a statement on the day, the FDA said, “In accordance with the results of the positive meeting of the Advisory Committee on the previous day, it has notified (to Pfizer) that it will move quickly for the final approval and issuance of Emergency Use Approval (EUA).” Approval is expected to come out as early as the 11th. The FDA-affiliated Vaccine and Biological Medicines Advisory Committee (VRBPAC) recommended EUA approval of Pfizer-Bioentech’s Corona 19 vaccine for those over 16 years old after a vote the previous day.

The U.S. government plans to start distributing the vaccine within 24 hours once FDA approval is granted. First, the targets of vaccination are nursing home residents and medical staff.
