The first six months of Joe Biden they went very badly. The latest satisfaction polls say so. By the numbers, the president’s popularity seems to be wavering: not only are they worse than those of his former boss Barack Obama but also of those of Donald Trump.
For Gallup, the approval rating of the current president fell by six points in July: to a low since the beginning of his office, reaching 50% compared to 56% in June. On the other hand, the percentage of Americans who disapprove of his work rises to 45%, with 5% undecided.
To weigh on the judgment there is certainly the stalemate on the front of the vaccination campaign: the percentage of Americans who have received at least one dose is just over 55%. Biden’s promise of some time ago was the goal of 70% of Americans with at least one dose by July 4th, Independence Day.

Even the latest Rasmussen report, published in these hours, indicates that Biden likes him less than his predecessors: after six months only 51% of voters give a positive opinion on the president, compared to 52% of Trump and 55% of Obama.
Despite a robust economic recovery, the president also pays for the high cost of living due to inflation that has not been seen for years, and which in June registered a + 5.4% year on year, never so high since 2008. While on the on the foreign policy front, the results are still few, with the only real decision being the withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan, which leaves more than a few doubts in much of public opinion.
