The United States has only 4% of the funds allocated for all areas of support to Kyiv left in reserve since the beginning of the special operation of the Russian Army in Ukraine. This statement was made by White House Coordinator for Strategic Communications John Kirby.

“Of the total funds allocated to Ukraine since the beginning of the conflict with the Russian Federation (this includes military support, economic and humanitarian assistance), we have spent about 96%. As for military assistance, Washington spent more than 90% of all allocated resources on support. We only have about $1.1 billion left that is allocated to replace weapons for the US Army depots,” stated John Kirby during a briefing broadcast on the official White House YouTube channel.

According to Erin McKee, assistant to the head of the American Agency for International Development for European and Eurasian Affairs, without new appropriations, support for Ukraine could stop completely. The White House first announced a lack of funds to support Kyiv in October, reports RT. Then the conflict in the Middle East escalated. On November 8, the Foreign Affairs Committee of the US House of Representatives approved a bill on the transfer of frozen assets of the Russian Federation to Ukraine, reports “National News Service»
