Swing states are states where the victory of a Democrat or a Republican is not a foregone conclusion. The fight between the candidates of both parties is even there to the last minute.
So far, we know the voting results in Florida, Minnesota and Ohio. Donald Trump wins in Florida and Ohio, Joe Biden in Minnesota. Ohio is a state in which the candidate who later became the president of the United States has always won in recent decades.
In Arizona, Democrat candidate Joe Biden leads, victory in the rest of the states remains an open question. There are 20 electoral votes in Pennsylvania, 10 in Wisconsin, 16 in Michigan, 16 in Georgia, and 15 in North Carolina.

The results of the vote in Pennsylvania will probably not be known until Friday. It is not known when we will find out about the results in North Carolina and Michigan. Media reports there is trouble counting votes in Georgia.
It is possible, however, that we will know the result of the vote in Wisconsin today.
The Republicans managed to hold on to Texas, which the Democrats were quietly hoping to recover. The interesting situation is in Nebraska, where we have a specific way of distributing votes, which means that not all electors vote for the same candidate. Four votes went to Donald Trump’s state, and one of them fell to Joe Biden.
