The Economist Juan Dubra It’s in Madrid working for the Center for Monetary and Financial Studies (CEMFI). From there, and through his Twitter account, the Uruguayan launched a campaign on social networks to get the signature of the writer and journalist Arturo Pérez-Reverte. It had such an impact that in the end it succeeded.
Dubra said that last April his father, Carlos Dubra, who was a fan of Pérez-Reverte’s books, passed away. “Since then I have read 15 of his books. Now in Madrid, I would like to have one signed,” he wrote and asked for his message to be replicated.
My father died in April. Big fan of @perezreverte . Since then I have read 15 of his books. Now in Madrid, I would like to have one signed. Help with an RT.

Although it was not known what the message said, the story was completed on Twitter with the gratitude of the Uruguayan, the signature and the dedication of Pérez-Reverte.
Very grateful to @perezreverte who received me at the Royal Spanish Academy (a luxury, I am a fan of the language) on his birthday.
I can not ask for more.
Hopefully you can visit us in Uruguay. https://t.co/Rr0mRTW0FJ pic.twitter.com/6fvcKureHY– Juan Dubra (@ JuanDubra1) November 25, 2021
