Kryenbühl is doing better
–
The pictures took our breath away: Urs Kryenbühl fell so badly on the legendary “Streif” ski slope in Kitzbühel that he initially remained lying there without moving. Now the Swiss has spoken for the first time on Instagram. The good news: He’s obviously able to joke again.

No injury to the spine
–
“So, I’ll be on the summer break,” the 26-year-old writes with a wink, referring to his injuries that have ended his season. However, he knows exactly how lucky he was in adversity. This is also revealed by the shamrock behind his message.
–
Kryenbühl suffered a concussion in his fall, broke his right collarbone and tore his cruciate and inner ligament in his right knee. That is bad. An injury to the spine was not diagnosed. And that’s the best news, given the pictures of the fall. Kryenbühl’s head hit the icy slope straight up.

Thank you very much for your sympathy
–
“As hard as it sounds, this season was over for me,” he continues. “The fact that I had a great guardian angel by my side when I fell in Kitzbühel is undisputed. I would like to thank everyone for their recovery wishes and the news. The sympathy is enormous. Thank you very much!”
