The last weeks before Christmas are undoubtedly the hottest period of the year for all courier companies. No wonder that the demand for couriers is the highest in December. We have looked at some of the offers and one thing is indisputable – the rates are very tempting.
Work is looking for a man
According to the data collected by the largest transport, forwarding and logistics companies – in the period of the so-called pre-holiday shopping frenzy, the number of parcels delivered grows by approx. 40 percent. Just before the holidays, the increases are already 100%.
The situation is further aggravated by the coronavirus pandemic, as we increasingly buy many goods online, which is an additional burden for courier companies. That is why any staff shortages are supplemented particularly intensively during this period. What’s more – anyone who has a driving license and is healthy can easily get a job as a courier.
How much is there to pull out? Quite a lot!
According to the money.pl portal – the rates are very tempting. For example, DHL guarantees newly hired couriers a monthly salary of PLN 7,000. Generally, couriers’ earnings fluctuate from 3,500 to approx. 6,000 PLN gross. Bicycle couriers earn less and can count on a maximum of PLN 3,500. gross.
