On Wednesday, the Ministry of Health and Population announced that 411 people recovering from the Coronavirus have been discharged from hospitals, after receiving the necessary medical care and recovery according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, bringing the total of those recovering from the virus to 111451 cases until today.
Dr. Khaled Mujahid, advisor to the Minister of Health and Population for Media Affairs and the official spokesperson for the ministry, stated that 1411 new cases that proved positive for laboratory analyzes of the virus were recorded, as part of the necessary surveillance, investigation and examination procedures that the ministry conducts according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, pointing to 56 new deaths.
Mujahid said that according to the recommendations of the World Health Organization issued on May 27, 2020, the disappearance of symptoms for 10 days after infection is an indication of the patient’s recovery from the Corona virus.
“Mujahid” stated that the total number that was registered in Egypt with the new Corona virus until Wednesday, is 136,644 cases, including 11,451 cases that have been cured, and 7576 deaths.
